Heaven bead (above the beam) is worth 5. Earth beads (below) are worth 1 each. A bead counts when it touches the beam.
Fingers: the thumb pushes earth beads up; the pointer finger brings them down and moves the heaven bead.
Little friends make 5: 1 & 4, 2 & 3. Big friends make 10: 1 & 9, 2 & 8, 3 & 7, 4 & 6, 5 & 5.
Honey-coloured beads are the ones moving. On a Mac, a Premium voice (System Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content) sounds best.
